Wrap Swaddle
Are those swaddle blankets a blessing or a curse?
I want to register for some because I hear good things about them but on the other hand some people say their babies became so dependent on them that they had to be weened off of them because they couldn't sleep without being all wrapped up.
I LOVED my swaddle blankets. The kiddopotaumus ones were fabulous, because of the velcro - they couldn't come undone.
Every baby is different - some babies may become dependent on it, some may not. My LO adored being swaddled at first - the tighter we wrapped him, the better!! It was a huge comfort to him, and would stop him from fussing almost instantly.
By the time he was about 5 weeks old, however, he started to "houdini" himself out of the swaddle - velcro or not, no matter how tightly I wrapped him. As soon as that started we stopped swaddling him and had had no issues with it whatsoever. Now, at almost 5 months, he loves to sleep completely sprawled out. 
It was the situation that worked best for us. It's hard to say what your LO will like, but it certainly can't hurt to try!!
